HEALTHY ABITS are habits that promote health and wellness in your life - like physical activities, eating a healthy diet, getting plenty of sleep, controlling Body weight.

A HEALTHY DIET IS ESSENTIAL FOR GOOD HEALT AND NUTRITION.  It protects you against many chronic noncommunicable diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. A healthy diet comprises a combination of different foods. These include: 

  • Staples like cereals (wheat, barley, rye, maize or rice) or starchy tubers or roots (potato, yam, taro or cassava).
  • Legumes (lentils and beans).
  • Fruit and vegetables.
  • Foods from animal sources (meat, fish, eggs and milk).
  • Water, tea or coffee (at least 6 to 8 glasses of day).

The MEDITERRANEAN DIET is an exemple of healthy-eating plan. It is a diet ispired by the eating habits and traditional food typical of Italy, Crete and Greece discovered in the early 1960s.

 The Mediterranean diet includes lots of healthy foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, seafood, beans, and nuts.

YOU MUST ALSO DO A LOT OF  OUTDOOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, such as walking, running, swimming, cycling, playing football, etc...Outdoor exercise has a stronger effect on blood pressure and mood than indoor exercise. 

MAINTAIN A HEALTHY BODY WEIGHT help to have a higher general well-being, as in addition to feeling better and lighter, it help to feeling energic and lower risk of disease.
